Lee Paul, President

Lee Paul has over 40 years of experience in the construction industry, most of it with commercial and institutional projects ranging in size from $50,000 to $100,000,000. His numerous institutional projects over the last two decades include libraries, science buildings, teaching, theaters, performing arts centers, and classroom buildings. Most of these projects included challenging logistics and coordination in the center of thriving college campuses and busy urban areas.

Mr. Paul’s recent experiences have focused in the area of program and construction management. His technical expertise, refined as an inspector, provided valuable insight into his management experience. Says Mr. Paul, “Construction has evolved and I have had to evolve in this business and ultimately as a business owner.” As an experienced user of computers and current software, he has augmented his management and leadership skills with a self designed on-line project management system. This user-friendly system provides real time input and updates by all construction team members and organizes the large quantities of documentation generated on today’s large-scale public works projects.

He started his career as a union ironworker with numerous large-scale projects. Mr. Paul returned to school where he was a construction technology major. He served as a full time inspector for over 15 years and still holds both a Division of the State Architect (DSA) certified “Class 1″ General Inspector license and a Certified Class “A” Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) Construction Inspector certification. To round out his inspection resume, Mr. Paul is also a certified special inspector in Reinforced Concrete, Pre-Stressed Concrete, Structural Masonry, Structural Steel and Welding as well as a certified I.A.P.M.O. Plumbing Inspector, P.I.P.E. Certified Medical Gas Inspector and A.C.I.A. Certified Code Specialist.

Enrique Cabello, Architect

Enrique Cabello has over 30 years of continuous experience in the architectural, design, engineering and construction fields. Throughout his career he has accumulated a solid record of achievement as a Departmental Director, Project Manager, Project Architect, Facilities Planner, Engineering Coordinator and Construction Administrator. Along with a proven ability as an architectural designer, he is well experienced in the integration of all technical and infrastructural engineering requirements associated with today’s technologically advanced building installations.

Throughout his career he has been heavily involved in complex building installations, emphasizing the coordination, and integration of electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and computerized building systems to industrial, educational, research, entertainment and military facilities. He possesses a keen understanding of the coordinative complexities of today’s environmental building requirements as well as a solid experienced with current LEED industry standards and associated environmental friendly design solutions. His experience includes projects overseen by California’s DSA and OSHPD agencies, AFROTEC, NAVFAC, COE, NASA, and JPL.

His career long project experience includes custom built residences, high rise office and multi-purpose buildings, school facilities, airports, high security buildings, laboratory installations, research and development facilities, military projects, movie studios, radio and television broadcast facilities, shopping malls, retail centers, department stores, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, medical office buildings and amusement parks. Mr. Cabello attended the School of Architecture at the University of Southern California, and he currently holds an Architectural License from the State of California.

Jong Lee, Engineer

Jong Lee has over 30 years of experience with a variety of expertise in construction estimates, scheduling and contract administration management, documentation and quality controls, along with field engineering and inspections. His project experience includes working in nuclear and fossil power generating plants, medical research buildings, performing arts buildings, sports complexes, schools, heavy industrial projects and commercial projects.

Mr. Lee has a broad educational background and degrees both in architectural design and civil engineering, majoring in construction engineering and project management. He also has experience having worked as an owner, contractor, consultant and inspector.

Erin Jones, Project Engineer

Erin Jones is a seasoned construction project engineer with experience in both the public and private sectors. She has worked on projects ranging from half a million dollars to over fifty million. Her areas of expertise include estimating, cost management and sustainable practices.

She is a US Green Building Council LEED Accredited Professional and has experience administering two LEED for New Construction Certified projects. Erin also has a thorough understanding of construction contracts, having worked on both the contractor’s side and the owner’s side. Erin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Engineering Management from CSU Long Beach.

Asarel Guerrero-Ruiz, Administrator & Project Support

Asarel Guerreo-Ruiz provides administrative and project management support. Her expertise includes knowledge of the state Director of Industrial Relations public works labor wage rates, the Southern California Contract Compliance and Division of Labor Enforcement document requests.

She has extensive experience with document management for project progress which includes contract requirements for Contractor Payment Applications, Potential Change Orders, preparation of Change Orders and Board Agenda, requirements of Los Angeles County for filing Notice of Completion and California Division of the State Architect’s project close out requirements. Asarel also administers the custom designed web-based project management application to fit each client’s and their consultant’s needs.
